The Map That Leads to You - Do you want to be happy or do you want to not be happy?

Upon graduating college, Heather goes on a European trip with her friends Amy and Connie. On the train, she meets Jack, who sleeps in their overhead cabinet. It is awkward, but they hit it off when they realize they are reading the same book. Amy just broke up with someone before the trip, so she immediately finds someone new named Viktor on the train. Viktor invites the girls to a nightclub, and they agree.

In the nightclub, Jack appears with his friend, Raef. Connie finds Raef attractive, so she hangs out with him. Jack and Heather are alone, and they leave the club to chat outside. Influenced by Jack's curiosity, they break into a tower and spend the night in a cable car. The next day, when someone discovers they've trespassed, they flee immediately.

Amy finds out Viktor is a fraud and he has stolen everything from her. The girls team up with Jack and Raef to hunt down Viktor. They are able to track where Viktor lives and take back Amy's stuff. In addition to that, they also steal the money from his house. With some extra cash, they are able to have a more luxurious trip for their remaining time in Europe. Connie continues the trip with Raef, while Amy will be walking Camino de Santiago alone. Heather plans to stick with her original plan to return home and take a short rest before working at a bank. Persuaded by Jack, Heather decides to delay her flight and stay with Jack for a longer time.

During the running of bulls, Jack gets injured and is sent to the hospital, where the doctor performs a body check. He later receives a call from the doctor that his condition has deteriorated, but he ignores it and continues with his trip. Confused by Jack's indifference to the fact that she is about to fly back, Heather has a fight with him. They also have differences in values. Heather likes taking photos to capture moments while Jack hates it. Jack prefers enjoying the moment by viewing scenes with his bare eyes.

Back in the hotel, Jack tells Heather that he has bought a ticket to return home with her. At the airport, Jack chickens out and disappears before boarding. Heather is confused again. She doesn't know why Jack did this to her. Disheartened by the disappearance of Jack, she returns home and starts her boring bank job

Heather returns to Barcelona to attend Connie and Raef's wedding, where Raef gives Heather a letter written by Jack. Jack explains that he doesn't want Heather to watch him die, so he left quietly. Heather is able to guess where Jack is traveling, so she flies there and they meet. They kiss and confess their love.
